Service Description

Implications Counselling provides a space to consider the legal, social and ethical implications around your fertility treatment decisions. Routinely a mandatory requirement by most HFEA Licensed Fertility Clinics and appointment with Tracey includes up to 90 minutes of counselling and time to prepare your personal report to share with the clinic of your choice to confirm counselling attendance. I believe that much more importantly it's a place to get comfy with your decisions. When you're not comfortable those around you, who care about you pick up on that, as often 80%+ of our communication is non-verbal; so getting comfy in embracing donor conception, surrogacy, or donating eggs, sperm or embryos, is important for you and any child conceived too. We promote donors being comfy being donors, parents being comfy being parents, promoting a positive outcome with comfy donor conceived children. If you are in a relationship it is important to attend as a couple, though additional appointments can be attended for support around the implications of treatment too. For surrogacy and treatment with a known donor - three appointments are required. 1 For the Intended Parent/s 1 For the Surrogate/Known donor and their partner if they have one 1 Group appointment
